SUMO offers comprehensive Measured Building and Topographic surveys delivered in AutoCAD.
Our technical expertise results in highly accurate 2D drawings, 3D models and wireframes. Plus, we provide surveys which generally range from 1:50 up to 1:500 scale. Suitable for a variety of purposes, the level of information surveyed on-site and shown within the final deliverables is tailored to your individual needs and client specifications.
Typically, our Measured Building and Topographical surveying projects include the following produced from AutoCAD:
Measured Building Surveys
Floorplans
Detailed plans are provided at an appropriate scale. All sizes of buildings can be surveyed, utilising laser scanning to ensure that all detail is accurately located from room-to-room and by floor-to-floor throughout buildings.
Elevations
Generally, elevations are surveyed remotely using 3D laser scanning, reflectorless instruments, and Aerial (UAV) or digital photography as necessary.
Depending on your requirements, these can be delivered to you as:
-
Basic outlines containing openings, eaves and ridges only. On a scale of 1:100
-
Detailed information with all window detailing and services as required. On a scale of 1:50
Sections
These can be produced through any point on a building and can show either the simple section detail or elevational information up to a distance away from the section line.
Topographic Surveys
All information is shown for the entirety of the site. Surveys are used for a variety of purposes and provide a birds-eye view of the site. 2D and 3D survey files are produced from AutoCAD that are suitable for use in most design or modelling packages.
AutoCAD drawings for Topographical surveys can be undertaken for all manner of sites, domestic or commercial. The wide variety of applications for this include:
-
As-built surveys
-
Development sites
-
Engineering surveys & design, e.g. highways, bridges, underground and rail surveys
-
Industrial design
-
Aerial or mobile mapping surveys
-
Tree surveys
-
Underground service tracing
Survey Grade GPS is used for the Ordnance Survey Grid and Datum when required for projects.
