What Does a Topographic Survey Include?

A topographic survey (often called a “topo” or land survey) is a highly accurate, scaled plan of a site that shows both natural and man-made physical features together with levels and contours.

It is usually referenced to the Ordnance Survey National Grid and Datum for consistency and accuracy. These surveys are characteristically a foundation for large scale land and property projects. They provide an accurate mapping of boundaries, contours, access points, utilities and water features.

Our surveys include:

  • CAD Drawings: DWG/DXF format (2D or 3D).

  • PDF Plans

  • Point Cloud Data

  • Aerial Surveys (if requested)

  • A Detailed Survey Report
