Hurricane Hall-Guy puts up a fight in aid of Cancer Research

SUMO's team member Aimee Hall-Guy braved 8 weeks of hard training to compete in the Portsmouth, Ultra White Collar Boxing tournament. Raising nearly £1000 for Cancer Research, she smashed her fundraising goals.

Ultra White Collar Boxing is one of the most established fundraising organisations in the UK. Having raised over £10m since 2009, it encourages men and women of all abilities to test their limits in a gruelling training regime.

Aimee said, "This year, one of my goals was to push myself outside of my comfort zone and do something I've never done before". With a close connection to the Cancer Research charity stemming from family members struggles with the illness, Aimee felt that "If they can go through all of that, then I can manage 8 weeks of training and a live event at the end!"

We always encourage our team members to enjoy activities outside of the workplace, especially those which aid great causes. I am sure we have all had encounters with cancer; whether it be through a family member, friend or ourselves. This is why SUMO was more than happy to help Aimee throughout her boxing experience, to which she made us very proud
