SUMO was delighted to attend the annual CRASH Charity Wildgoose Chase sponsored by Taylor Wimpey and Property Week. It was an enjoyable event for all and raised over £17,000!
On the 27th September, the construction industry joined forces to take part in the 2018 Wildgoose Chase in aid of CRASH charity. The event, organised by Taylor Wimpey welcomed teams from across the industry including Ben Adams Architects, Arcadis and 8 Build.
Cleverly organized by Taylor Wimpey graduates, the Wildgoose Chase saw teams race throughout the streets of London to various GPS locations using an interactive iPad. Once at these GPS locations, they would unlock sets of activities. With 2 hours on the clock, the team who completed the most tasks and was awarded the most points would win.
SUMO’s team, named The Feature Finders comprised a mixture of talent from the company and included Peter Marsh, Pam Stevenson, Gary McIntosh, Tom Price and Emily Walton. From re-enacting dramatic soap endings, performing the Hakka to a crowd of passers-by, to photographing team members posing as characters from Blades of Glory, we are proud of our team who got stuck into the action to win as many points as possible.
