Survey Choices

As a guide, SUMO offers three levels of topographical survey: Standard, Intermediate & Comprehensive, the principal difference being the amount of detail recorded, however each survey can be tailored to meet the Clients individual needs.

SUMO 'Standard' level surveys records as minimum essential site data including kerbs, verges, fences, footpaths, buildings, trees, street furniture, and visible utilities with associated cover levels (manholes, inspection chambers etc).

SUMO 'Intermediate' level surveys are as per standard, with the addition of channel lines,
additional building detail and appropriate spot heights.

SUMO 'Comprehensive' level surveys build upon the intermediate level survey to include reduced level data for all string lines, together with key dimensional and descriptive information, contours and road markings including building roof detail.
