SUMO provides a nationwide specialist utility detection and topographical mapping service to the construction and utilities industries.
We have a vacancy for a CAD Administrator based at our Head office in Havant. The main focus of the role involves the production of topographic and utility drawings from data captured on site and processing in AutoCAD to a high degree of accuracy and presentation. You will be expected to liaise directly with clients and field surveyors to manage the throughput of drawings.
The ideal candidate would be proficient with N4CE, Geosite and AutoCAD software and have experience in processing RINEX data and producing 2D drawings from laser scanned point clouds.
Previous experience in a mapping/surveying environment and knowledge of utilities infrastructure would be a benefit. The quality control responsibilities of the job will require good attention to detail.
We anticipate the successful applicant to be a qualified and experienced Land Surveyor who is looking for an office based position.
